March General Meeting Blake Klocke, PhD
A successful pilot year for head starting Indiana Crawfish frogs

Blake is from St. Paul and has had a lifelong interest in herpetology and herpetoculture. He completed his bachelor’s degree at University of Wisconsin – River Falls. He earned his PhD from George Mason University and Smithsonian Conservation Biology Institute studying methods to reintroduce critically endangered frogs threatened by chytrid fungus in Panama. Blake has worked as Curator of Amphibians at Detroit Zoo and most recently as Indiana’s One Health Biologist.
